On Monday 10th September I held my first ever Pilates PT 'Athletics Not Aesthetics' event at the Sweaty Betty flagship store on Carnaby Street. The event was entitled 'Social Responsibility in the Wellness Industry' and featured four speakers:

With the rise in popularity of the wellness industry, and with greater interest in social media and influencers, are we truly considering the effects our message has on the general population?
Those who work in the wellness industry must be careful that their work is inspiring and educating their followers, not shaming or misinforming them and this can be a very fine balancing act. In this 2 hour talk we'll heard from some of the industries most experienced voices on this very topic and learn how we can all be more mindful of the content we post, the message we promote and the advice we share.
All profits from this event were donated to Move Charity who are dedicated to supporting children & young people living with cancer through the power of exercise and sport.
